When you're burned out and life is overwhelming, building and maintaining a village seems an impossible task.

This retreat is designed for you: the busy woman who desperately needs a break. But more than that, needs to be nurtured, held and restored.

Imagine a week in a beautiful, peaceful setting- a part of Italy most people haven't yet experienced - where kids get to participate in activities and you get to be a whole person, experiencing the simple
pleasures of yoga, healing artmaking sessions, and amazing fresh food. To top it off, you'll have access to the sauna and jaccuzzi,

Our retreat center is a charming resort and organic farm located in southern Puglia in the heart of Salento, the heel of the Italian boot.

The farm is surrounded by nature and silence in the center of Salento, Zollino, just 10 minutes from Lecce. The only sounds you can hear are the wind, the chirping of birds, and crickets and cicadas. The intrinsic quality of the place and the decisions made in renovating the farmhouse have made this place perfect for a true
relaxing yoga retreat getaway.

The site is a mix of tradition and innovation, of ancient and modern: two elegant ancient buildings from the early 20th century are near recently renovated buildings that host the guest rooms and restaurant. All buildings are surrounded by a green park, beautifully designed by a true master of landscape architecture: Annalisa Calcagno Maniglio. In the park is a large pool, with sun chairs and gazebos and several green fields. With hammocks hidden between the trees it's a true paradise.

I'm an artist, historian, preservation advocate and event planner. My "superpower" is human connection and I'm proud of my strong network of friends and colleagues. Many of the people in my circles I've met through volunteering and community activism. In 2016, an art/history residency outside of Florence, Italy changed my trajectory and led me toward collaborations I couldn't have imagined. My cousins in Italy have helped me stay connected to my heritage, and I am so excited to share the beautiful countryside with you there.

I have planned this retreat with you in mind, and selected our teachers and venue with great care. I look forward to meeting each of you individually during a coaching session, or one of our unstructured meal or down times.

Rebecca spent most of her adult life traveling the world, studying in Ashrams of India, teaching English in Japan, guiding people diving in the crystal clear waters along the Caribbean coast of Central America, drinking in the wide perspective that living nomadic life outside the box offers. Her experiences culminate in the central theme of the inner architecture- the capabilities of the human body and the expansive nature of the mind.

She approaches life with a sense of curiosity and flow, intrigued & delighted by the way ritual and ceremony cultivate community and is dedicated to the restoration of this around the continuum of the childbirth experience. The oldest of six, she grew up in a role of caretaking and leadership, which instilled in her a strong work ethic and sense of social responsibility & collective care.

Our retreat in Salento, Puglia will leave you with a sense of peace and centeredness. The chance to show up for your deeper self, along with an opportunity to share a special part of the world with the kids in your life , is a worthwhile investment.

Built for all skill and experience levels, this retreat is priced by type of room, with discounts for kids 11 and under. Paying an initial non-refundable deposit of $450 per person will lock in your rate and hold your space.
