If you've ever tried to use creative ideas to change places, bring more artists to your neighborhood, or launch a signature event at a historic landmark, I can help bring your vision to life.
My experience in the arts, historical research, community engagement and creative event management has given me the tools to imagine and launch a wide variety of projects. I also offer trainings and talks on:
- Broadening the appeal of historic places
- Consulting on historic districts and other tools
- Creative event ideation
- Convening creative placemaking experts
- Establishing artist-in-residence programs
"LIVELY, DIVERSE, INTENSE CITIES CONTAIN THE SEEDS OF THEIR OWN REGENERATION." - Jane Jacobs
Who do you know? The network is everything.
I have built up strong relationships across the country, and internationally, in a variety of disciplines. I managed a team of 26 volunteer coordinators, to build "Buffalo's Best Summer Event", the CITY of NIGHT art festival. I have collaborated with colleagues to save important places.
I consult on community projects that unite people with shared interests.
Some of my affiliations:
Advisor, National Trust for Historic Preservation
Co-Founder and President, Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo
Class of 2014, The John R. Oishei Foundation 20 Leaders program
Member, Buffalo's Young Preservationists
NextGen, Congress for the New Urbanism
I can rally the kind of troops you need: urban planners, architects, artists and event managers.
My team will work with you and the community to bring your ideas to life.
Send me a message to begin the consulting process, hire me to speak, or convene a panel of experts to present ideas to your organization.
